Hollystown Golf Club

Hollystown has been designed to offer golfers an enjoyable experience with enough challenge to ensure a win is well earned. A feature of Hollystown is the difficult Par 3’s, including Red 7, 234 yards from the back tees, and Yellow 8 and Blue 2 which both expect the golfer to carry carefully placed water features.

Each nine has a balance of challenging Par 4’s and testing Par 5’s, mixed amongst these are holes that give the golfer an opportunity to make par or even birdie. Natural streams strategically come into play on each of the 3 combinations with well positioned water hazards to catch the careless shot.

The course was designed on a parkland setting which had not been touched for over a hundred years and has the benefit of the long established mature trees and natural shaping of the land. A range of tee box positions can vary the challenge.

Hollystown’s €1.7M Upgrade

Hollystown Golf Course has received a €1.7 million upgrade since the autumn of 2005 ensuring the golf course will continue to provide premium conditions and extra new challenges for all our visiting golfers.
