The idyllic Castle Barna Golf Club in County Offaly is one of Ireland’s hidden gems, set on some of the most beautiful countryside in the Heart of Ireland. Open for membership greenfees and societies.
Only an hour from Dublin Airport via the N6, it is ideally located for groups travelling west.
Nestled along the banks of the Grand Canal on it’s route from Dublin to the Shannon, Castle Barna Golf club is on the edge of Daingean town, a town steeped in history and beauty. On arrival the beautiful stonework of the clubhouse gives a hint of the excellent quality of the club.
The greens are immaculately manicured and whether you are a high or low handicap golfer you will seldom make the same putt twice. The fairways are always in mint condition. The course is interspersed with many trees, some of which are hundreds of years old.
