Three years later the group grew to five clubs with Carne Golf Links and Donegal Golf Club joining and Westport Golf Club resigning from the group. West Coast 4 then became known as West Coast Links.
1995 saw the addition of Ballyliffin Golf Club to the group, with Rosapenna Golf Links following a number of years later. With seven courses in the group – an advert was designed highlighting the “Magnificent Seven”. The year 2002 saw West Coast Links become North & West Coast Links Golf with three clubs in Northern Ireland joining – Castlerock Golf Club, Portstewart Golf Club and Royal Portrush Golf Club. Advertisements at this time focused on the “10 Links of Heaven”.
Portsalon Golf Club became the 11th member of North & West Coast Links Golf, when it joined in 2005. Current adverts recognise this change by now focusing on the “Links 11”.
2007 saw Ardglass Golf Club replace Castlerock Golf Club as a member of North & West Coast Links Golf. In 2008, North & West Coast Links welcomed Narin & Portnoo Golf Club, a hidden gem located along the Donegal coast. With 12 Championship Links courses, North & West Coast Links Golf represent some of the finest link golf courses in the world.
