New Ross Golf CLub

New Ross Golf Club is a magnificent USGA-standard greens parkland course. New Ross Golf course combines stunning scenery with a classic layout.

The back nine has been in play for over a hundred years while the front nine has been in play since 1995. The new nine was designed by Des Smyth (2006 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain) and Declan Brannigan and is a fabulous example of modern design with old style golfing values.

The fairways are generous and the old nine (the back nine) is a wonderfully mature with tree lined fairways some of which are well over 100 years old.

The course is a pleasant, yet challenging, 18 hole course with superbly manicured rolling fairways. Our speedy greens have attained a standard of excellence and discerning visitors regularly tell us that they are amongst the best to be found around the country.
